To install Windows 11, follow these steps based on your situation:
1. Check System Requirements
Make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements:
- 64-bit processor with 1GHz or faster, 2+ cores
- 4GB RAM or more
- 64GB storage or more
- UEFI firmware with Secure Boot
- TPM 2.0
- DirectX 12 compatible graphics card
- Internet connection
Check compatibility using the PC Health Check tool.
2. Back Up Your Data
Before installing, back up important files using:
- OneDrive
- External drive
- Cloud storage
3. Choose Installation Method
Option A: Upgrade via Windows Update
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update
- If compatible, you’ll see an option to upgrade to Windows 11.
- Click Download and install.
